The lightly dusted cakes are supposedly strawberry tasting, I'll not try them myself, not too keen on that kind of thing but am assured by the girls that they taste lovely.

Busy Week!

Well it's been a bit of a busy week this week. My eldest daughter turned 12 on Tuesday, where does the time go to, only another year till she enter's the teenage years. Went to the dentist on the day, she loves me for that, but did take a bus across to Swanage and bought some handemade chocolates from a shop called Chococo (www.chococo.co.uk) as a bit of a treat, unfortunately that evening she came down with a bad case of tonsilitis, poor girl.
Have finally managed to organise all my cross stitching threads so that I can what I need alot more easily, will just have to put that into practice now.

What A Week

Well the Summer Holidays have finally started.
Have spent most of this week getting organised in the Cross-Stitch department, had no idea I had so many skeins! Have had to re-order some more file inserts for the gold concept system as 10 just were not enough, another 10 might just do it, along with 40 stitch bows. Hopefully I'll be running alot more smoothly soon.

The Kiss

This is my second largest stitch to date. It was done on 28 count evenweave, with so many different colours as well as working with gold metallic thread. Definitely 1 of my personal favourites.
